Charming Chicks Portrait Dolls are a collaboration between the artist and the client. Working from your description, I will craft a doll to reflect you or a loved one. The more accurate your description, the more the doll will come alive to match. The portrait doll may have the same hair style and color, and can be dressed like its namesake, and/or the doll may represent an ideal self. Embellishments will round out the portrait, depicting the subject's activities, hobbies, career, etc.
Each hand-crafted doll is a whimsical depiction of the various loves and talents of individuals. Each doll, like each person, is beautiful in its unique combination of characteristics. Fairies and angels represent our hopes, wishes and prayers for our loved ones. Through the dolls, I attempt to express human dreams, aspirations and ideals. Dolls are designed as an affirmation of a person's spirit.
